Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of STUDIOCULT , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for STUDIOCULT:

  1. Moving marquees: Text marquees may scroll/animate automatically at the moment while we are in the process of reconfiguring our marquees to be static graphics and reducing the amount of automatic motion that is currently triggered on page load. Presently, all marquees display as still text if a device-level Low Motion setting is enabled. Please feel free to reach out to accessibility@studiocult.co if you encounter any additional issues that are not addressed in this statement.

  2. Moving videos: Short (3-6s) videos may play automatically on page load while we are in the process of reconfiguring our videos to play/animate only with user input, as opposed to on page load. This is part of a greater effort to reduce the amount of automatic motion that is currently triggered on page load. Presently, all videos will display as fallback static images instead if a device-level Low Motion setting is enabled. Please feel free to reach out to accessibility@studiocult.co if you encounter any additional issues that are not addressed in this statement.

  3. Product Reviews: Reviews from other users that contain uploaded images may not have text alternatives because we cannot ensure the quality of contributions from reviewers on upload. We monitor reviews and repair any issues we encounter within 3 business days of identifying them. Please reach out to accessibility@studiocult.co if you encounter an issue.

  4. FAQ, Knowledge Base, Contact Us & Chat: Our support infrastructure, including but not limited to, the chat widget on site, our FAQ, our Knowledge Base, and our Contact Us submission form, may present keyboard focus indicator issues, low-color contrast elements, and incorrectly announced roles for certain FAQ items if using a screen reader technology. These are all sourced from a third-party, whose software is currently being researched to determine how much configurability we have within it to ensure accessibility, if any. If you encounter issues related to any of the support elements listed above while we are in the process of remediating them, please feel free to reach out to accessibility@studiocult.co.

  5. Loyalty Program: Our Loyalty Program may present keyboard focus indicator issues, low-color contrast elements, and missing image descriptions. The content on this page is managed through third-party software that we are presently auditing to determine how much configurability we have within it to ensure accessibility, if any. If you encounter issues related to the Loyalty Program while we are in the process of auditing it to increase accessibility, please feel free to reach out to accessibility@studiocult.co.

  6. Pop-Up Offer: Our pop-up offer that is displayed to some visitors on page load may present keyboard focus indicator issues, low-color contrast elements, and inconsistently announced elements if using a screen reader technology. The pop-up content is managed through third-party software that we are presently auditing to determine how much configurability we have within it to ensure accessibility, if any.
