AWE.BJECT, LLC ("Company" or "We" or “Us” or “StudioCult”) respects your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website https://studiocult.co/ (our "Website") or order our products on our Website (the “Services”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. StudioCult is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide these Services to you. 

This policy applies to the information we collect:

• Over the phone. 

• In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and StudioCult.

It does not apply to information collected by:

• Us through any other means, including on any other website operated by Company or any third party; or 

• Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from our Website

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to this privacy policy. Children Under the Age of 16

The Short: If you’re under 18, you cannot use our Website.

Our Website is not intended for children under the age of majority in their state. No one under the age of majority may provide any information to or on our Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on our Website, make any purchases through our Website, or provide any information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

The Short: We collect information to process payments and orders and monitor customer satisfaction. We only collect personal information you provide us and share that personal information with service providers for the reasons you provided the information, ex: shipping to your address or processing your payment.

Third-Parties

The Short: We use third parties to help us do things we cannot, like processing credit card payments or learning about our Website traffic. 

In addition to Shopify, we may use other sub-processors to support our Services (such as analytics, shipping, and marketing partners) as discussed below. A current list of Shopify’s sub-processors is available here. We may update this list from time to time as our business needs evolve. 

We use a variety of third parties to process your payments, provide subscription emails and text messages, and other services. We also use third-party advertisers who may collect information about you and provide that information to us. 1. Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you. In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our Store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over use of your personal information for these purposes. How We Use Your Information

The Short: We use your information for the purposes you gave it to us, and we use website statistics to learn how to increase customer satisfaction.

• To our subsidiaries and affiliates.

• To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, such as advertisers, shipping companies, and others to provide access to our services and process payments. 

• To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you give us an email address to subscribe to our mailing list.

• For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

• With your consent.

We may also disclose your personal information:

• To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

• To enforce or apply our terms of usage and other agreements, including billing and collection purposes.

• If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of StudioCult, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

• For the purposes of business transactions like mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, asset sales, reorganizations, divestitures, dissolutions, bankruptcies, liquidations, or other types of strategic business transactions where personal information may be shared, sold, or transferred, and subsequently used by a third party.

Your Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to inform you of your choices regarding your personal information. The following may provide you control over your information or more information on how your information is used: 

• Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") on the NAI's website. You can also view, delete, or add interest categories associated with your browser by visiting: https://adssettings.google.com. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. At this moment, our Website is unable to receive or honor web browser Do Not Track signals. 

Third-Party Privacy Policies. As discussed in the Third Parties Section, we use third-parties to process payments and provide other services through our Website. Please look at the Third Parties Section of this Policy for links to their privacy policies.  

• Targeted Advertising. We work with Google, Facebook, and other companies to advertise our products either through the company or through our social media. You can visit their websites to learn more about their own privacy policies. 

Please note that if you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will automatically treat this as a request to opt-out for the device and browser that you use to visit the website. If we are able to associate the device sending the signal to a Shopify account, we will apply the opt out request to the account as well. Other than the Global Privacy Control, we do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals that may be sent from your web browser or device.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. Please use the links above to learn more about your options.  

How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept. 

We will keep your personal information while you have an account with us or while we are providing our Services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary:

• To respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf;

• To show that we treated you fairly; or

• To keep records required by law.

We will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Different retention periods apply for different types of personal information

We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect, or prevent us from fulfilling any purchase.

The Short: You might have additional rights to protect your data and if you’re curious if you can assert these rights, reach out, and we’ll help you learn more about your data.

Although our business does not meet the requirements set by most states, we strive to help you understand how your data is being used and will attempt to assist in requests based on local state laws. Please note we may deny a deletion request if keeping your information is necessary to complete a transaction with you for our services, to allow you to access the Services (if you still desire to), and other reasons allowed under the laws, such as detecting security incidents or complying with a legal obligation.

Please note we do not sell your personal information. We provide a ‘Your Privacy Choice’ link in our Website footer. This allows you to opt out of targeted advertising and data sharing. 

International Users

The Short: If you live internationally and have privacy questions, let us know, and we’ll assist. 

In the event you are located internationally, you may have certain rights. For example, the GDPR provides individuals of European Economic Area (“EEA”) also with specific rights regarding their personal information. The European Union (“EU”) residents have the right to: 

• Access. You can request a copy of the information collected, and the copy provided will be in a commonly readable format.

• Correction. If inaccurate or incomplete, you can correct or update your personal data on file. This can be done for most information on your Account settings.

• Deletion. You can request we delete your personal data. 

• Stop Processing. You can request us to stop processing your data. Please note there are some situations where we may have to continue to process your data, such as to continue to provide you access to the console or to finish a transaction. 

• Data Portability. You have the right to receive the personal information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and/or transmit that data to a third party—in certain situations.

• Object. You have the right to object if we are using your data for a public interest task or for legitimate interest. Please note we try to only process your data when you have given consent to perform contracts with you and only have a legitimate interest in collecting your IP address to gauge website interest and responding to emails. All other processes of your data occur via contractual obligations or your consent, such as when you register an account for the console. 

• Withdraw Consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and can do this by following the instructions on your ability to delete information. Please note there are some situations where we require processing your data, such as to continue to provide you access to the console or to finish a transaction, and withdrawing your consent may prevent you from accessing services.

• Not Be Subjected to Automatic Individual Decision-Making. You have the right to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. While we may use automated tools to personalize your experience (for example, recommending products or showing relevant advertising), these processes do not affect your legal rights or access to our Services.

Where your information is Held

Information may be held at our offices and those of our affiliates, agents, and service providers as further described above.

For example, we are based outside of the EEA, and some of the third parties we work with are also based outside of the EEA. These transfers are subject to special rules under European and UK data protection law.
