Celestial Shard Earring

the fact that a coworker just complimented me on these has reminded me to leave a review: they're good earrings! not as heavy as I was concerned that they might be, so I'll be getting more full sized pieces in the future. they're elegant and simple enough to be widely versatile in style - I'll probably wear these to a formal event at some point and to a house show in somebody's basement another time.

my sole caveat is to be aware that there's a reason each piece arrives in a separate sleeve - they can and will scratch each other if you consolidate them all into one sleeve and let that bounce around in your pocket for a whole commute. which I did, obviously. they don't scratch badly; the marks are miniscule, but the surface is so perfectly smooth and shiny when you get them that it's the only reason the scratches are visible at all (my camera couldn't focus well enough to capture the marks on these so just trust me). you can easily avoid this by taking smarter care of your earrings than I did. I'm a bit hesitant now to wear them stacked with the mini stars and moons since I don't want to ding them up on each other when I move around, but I'm fairly sure nobody else will ever notice even if they do get a little scuffed.
