Sob story: I had a partial parotidectomy on my left salivary glad and have a scar between my earlobe and neck. Wearing studs can be super uncomfortable for me, and I prefer over-ear headphones for most audio listening. These flat back earrings go UNNOTICED by me!!! I absolutely love them and wore them for THREE DAYS without any issues. That's the longs I've left a pair of earrings in since the surgery.
