    Beautiful Chain Broke My Heart

    This chain is beautiful, sparkly, unique. I'd been on a mission for a chain that could be my daily friend, something pretty & different that could be worn every day comfortably and not wear away or react with my skin. My eyes popped when I first saw it listed & I ordered.

    Packed in a fancy, full-sized box with a smaller chain-sized box inside, the chain itself was shrink wrapped to protect from scratches. Unwrapped, the chain is WOW - shiny, smooth, reflective and a scene stealer for sure. I was READY!

    Then, I tried to put it on aaand it didn't fit. Even though I had ordered the larger size and had thought, after looking at the pic posted of a larger male model wearing the Starstruck chain, "If it fits this guy it should fit me", but it did not, too tight. BUT, I DID NOT measure my neck before ordering. That is on me & my chubby neck for just assuming it would.

    The main issue with this chain, however, is function. I found it really difficult to get all of the stars in the chain to lay correctly prior to putting on. The stars are linked at the middle-back rather than end to end and any movement or position change to the chain causes links to shift slightly, twist, and "lock up". A gentle shake of the chain can't correct it; I had to actively unkink the little links which caused other links to lock up. For such a clean-looking design, it took some effort with my sister helping me to get these stars aligned. Also, the ring that you attach to the chunky style clasp…
