I got the mini gold one as a pair, and I really like how they look! They're also extremely light, only a little heavier than my usual thin huggies, so I've been wearing them constantly and to sleep. My only complaint is that the hinge on the opening/closing mechanism is ever so slightly rickety--which is interesting, because I got 3 pairs of the carabiner earings in total and the hinge feels questionable on all but one of them. But it's really solid-feeling and doesn't wobble on one of the 6, which is the type of feeling I usually prefer on my earrings that open with a hinge mechanism. BUT this does not actually impede putting the earring on or wearing it; i've been wearing my mini carabiners for a full day now, and basically forgotten they're there except when someone compliments my style lol. And actually it's genius that the hinge is on the side of the earring instead of the bottom, cus even if I accidentally catch my hand on the earring while i'm brushing my hair back or something, it doesn't immediately result in the whole earring popping open and falling off; that was a big issue I had with round earrings with the hinge at the bottom where the whole earring opens up Pacman-style. If you do happen to notice the latch shift overtime or feel a bit odd, we reccomend adjusting the pin ever so slightly to lock it back into place. Perfect b-day gift for fashionable climber boyfriend
I recently purchased the pink mini carabiner Earring as a gift for my partner who enjoys climbing and also appreciates fun jewelry. I haven't gifted it to him yet but, I took a peek to make sure everything was ok with the earring before I do. It is the perfect size, so adorable, and I'm sure he will love it.
